By:Joel Shaps & Dick Tetschlag

A summary of the League format is given below. The deadline for team sign-up is September 1st, so sign-up early and help us get off to a successful start. If you're interested, please see your Club Pro for sign-up and League details.

League Format Summary

Teams: Each club may field multiple teams into 4 Divisions; however, there must be at least one team in each of the first 3 Divisions before adding multiple teams to any Division.

Division I: Skill Level 4.5 to 5.5
Division II: Skill Level 3.5 to 4.5
Division III: Skill Level 2.5 to 3.5
Senior Division: 45 years and older, all levels

Team Size: 4 Players per match. 6-8 players per team.

Participating Clubs: TBD

Match Format: Each match consists of 4 individual player matches, best of 5 games. The final score is the total number of games won per team, with 1 bonus point for each match win, plus one point for playing. Team captains set the lineup. Each team will referee two matches. Home team will provide refreshments.

Match Schedule: Matches are planned to begin the later part of September. There will be a match every other week (2/month max) and each squad will play home and away against each Division rival (so only 1 away match per month). For planning purposes, each division has been assigned a night of the week on which to play their matches. Two (2) courts will be reserved at the home club from 7PM - 9PM on that evening.

Division I Matches: Monday night
Division II Matches: Tuesday night
Division III Matches: Wednesday night
Seniors Division: Thursday night

Late Sept: Matches begin
December-January: Mid-season break

Fees: $60 per team. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams at the end of the season in May.
